The Kilpi RACER-U sports knee socks are made from a lightweight, breathable knit of merino wool and synthetic fibres. This combination of materials is suitable for high-intensity sports such as skiing or alp touring. Different types of knitwear are arranged according to functional zones to achieve maximum comfort. The natural properties of merino wool are that it can neutralise sweat and thus eliminate unpleasant odours and naturally repel impurities. Polyamide fibres increase the tensile strength of the sock and resistance to abrasion. The proportion of elastane guarantees sufficient elasticity of the socks. The reinforced shin zone eliminates bruising from ski boots, the plush heel and toe area are abrasion resistant, and the structured breathable zone around the instep helps to remove moisture. The top hem of the sock is flexible enough, wide enough and does not press. The Kilpi RACER-U knee socks are available in two sporty colours.
