Super-G at the Pitztal Glacier
30. 12. 2017
This year’s first races took place at the Pitztal glacier. Pitztal the roof of Tyrol is the highest glacier in the region. In two Super-G races I finished in the second ten. Super giant slalom or super-G are racing discipline of alpine skiing. The German Championship was cancelled because of bad weather. I transferred to St. Moritz where I should have taken part in downhill and the World Cup Super-G. The supply of fresh snow was such that the SP’s first stop program was cancelled.
But I was pleased to have gained the FIS points for SP speed disciplines for the next season. I met Didier Cuche. In addition I tested the new Kilpi clothing and it passed successfully.
