Our skialp tour in the Mountain Králický Sněžník
12. 12. 2017
On Saturday, our bikes sent us a clear message that the winter had arrived and it is the time for other sports. Filip tried how Kilpi's clothes slip on the asphalt (nothing much), and the frozen leaves tested Anna whether she will slip on such surface.
On Sunday, we set out in skialp tour to the Mountain Králický Sněžník, a mountain on the border and the highest mountain (1424 meters above sea level) of the whole massif. Our trip started in Hynčice pod Sušinou. We left the car there and went to the Mountain Králický Sněžník. From the beginning, we climbed the slopes where the wind troubled us, but it was no problem in the HURRICANE jacket. As soon as we reached the forest, the wind calmed, and we enjoyed snowy views and perfect snow conditions. After less than three hours of climbing, we were hit with a strong wind on the top of the mountain, so we quickly removed the climbing skins, put on the SVALBARD down jacket and went downhill in the powder snow.
Enjoy the beauty of the snowy mountains with us and set out in the mountains in the excellent Kilpi clothing.
