Our skialp tour in the Mountain Králický Sněžník
12. 12. 2017
On Saturday our bikes sent us a clear message that the winter had arrived and it is the time for other sports. Filip tried to see how Kilpi's clothes slip on the asphalt (nothing much), and Anna tried the frozen leaves to see whether she will slip on that surface.
On Sunday we set out on the skialp tour to the Mountain Králický Sněžník, This is a mountain on the border and the highest mountain (1424 meters above sea level) of the whole massif. Our trip started in Hynčice pod Sušinou. We left the car there and went to the Mountain Králický Sněžník. From the beginning we climbed the slopes where the wind troubled us, but it was no problem in the HURRICANE jacket. As soon as we reached the forest, the wind calmed,we enjoyed snowy views and perfect snow conditions. After less than three hours of climbing we were hit with a strong wind on the top of the mountain, so we quickly removed the climbing skins, put on the SVALBARD down jacket and went downhill on the powder snow.
Enjoy the beauty of the snowy mountains in the excellent Kilpi clothing.
